Graduated with Bachelor’s Degree for Elementary Education in December 2008 from Texas A&M Commerce
I was blessed to join the Bland Family in August of 2017. I have enjoyed teaching both Kindergarten and First Grade here at Bland.
Over the years, I have taught Pre-K through 6th grade Elementary music, Second Grade, First Grade, and Kindergarten. In 2019, I will be beginning my 19th year in education.
Jim and I got married in 1995 and we have one daughter, Amanda who is a college student. She is studying business to eventually open up her own bakery.

I am married to Jim and we have a daughter, Amanda. I have been teaching for nearly 20 years. I love to decorate my porch, as well as work in my yard. Teaching, for me, is a calling and something I have a true love for. I fully believe that each child is a gift, they just unwrap at their own pace.
